A Personal Note From Our FounderMeet Lisa Williams
Beauty is in my DNA.
I grew up with stories of the industry’s early, raw days—before it even had a name, when Horst Rechelbacher (founder of Aveda) was mixing potions in his bathtub, dreaming of something more. My mother was one of the first artists at his side, and by the time I was 16, I was at the school, cleaning brushes and soaking in the culture. I learned early on that hairstyling is a noble, artistic inheritance.
My career has spanned the full spectrum of the industry, from behind the chair to years of refining my leadership at a world-class salon group. Since then, I have evolved into the roles I cherish most: curator and mentor. That founding belief—that our hands and our hearts are tools for sculpture and care—remains the foundation of everything I do.
I founded Bespoke in 2011 as a Living Atelier. Inspired by the precision of British tailoring, our salon was built on a singular philosophy: beauty is synonymous with individuality. We believe your natural beauty is elevated by virtue of what we do; it is our role to refine it, never define it.
I have curated a collective of master artisans who share a coastal-inspired sensibility—valuing "lived-in" elegance and deep, heartfelt craft. Beyond the chair, I am dedicated to mentoring the next generation, passing down the devotion I was raised with. Working alongside my creative director and team, I ensure every detail of your visit meets our uncompromising standard of excellence.
