Bravery means to fight for what you stand for Bravery - when you're lost, scared or feeling weak. Bravery keeps you going and makes you stronger. Bravery Home Goods Minnesota gives a portion of their profits to girls that need reassurance on their way to Bravery.
Avery (Age 11) created her first bath bomb with her aunt Tara and collaborated with her Dad to name and design a logo and packaging. Her fiend James (age 10) joined as co-creater and Bravery was born. The duo now have their bath bombs in three stores in three states. Avery + James hand crafted bath bombs are now available at Bespoke. Follow Bravery Home Goods Minnesota on Instagram @braveryhomegoods Avery + James

A rise in self-expressive art and bold creativity is leading a new class of contemporary artists on the London scene. A recent trip to the city and NOW Gallery’s latest collaboration with digital print designer Camille Walala left me awestruck and dizzy amidst an immersive Memphis Pop mazed puzzle. Walala's illustrative doodles and maximalist geometrics is an experiential art installation meets funhouse playground. Her controlled injections of color and disco stripe work creates the perfect backdrop for a labyrinth of print and pattern.
The Tate Britain's Art Now exhibition introduces new work by emerging artists who often go on to become established influencers. I was giddy with excitement over the work of Simeon Barclay, a British artist who combines industrial materials and pop culture iconography as a reference to our obsession with aspirational lifestyles, celebrity fame, and wealth.
This colorful expression in art is also popping up in the beauty and hair industry as make-up artists and hair stylists experiment with interesting materials and dyes. Creativity and the individual is seen through the use of vivid, saturated color and abstract shapes. Tim Walker's editorial for i-D magazine's April 2017 issue celebrates an irreverent off-beat uniqueness and the freedom of self-expression. “Creativity is our light at the end of tunnel. The thing that tells us to get out of bed because someone somewhere is doing something beautiful,” says i-D cover star Adwoa Aboah. As a society yearning for a brighter future, this is a happy movement toward accepting diverse individuality with a playful perspective of art and design.
The show a couture collection in Paris, was business as usual. It took place in the garden of an old abbey on the West Bank in Paris. Beautiful Flowers lined the runway with real blooms on the models heads and fingers.
Famed Hairstylist Odile Gilbert is a genius at arranging accessories in the hair, she's even more of a genius when it comes to getting them to stay in the hair. Her trick? Tying the hair into tiny ponytails using clear elastics that she could use to anchor the baby's breath and satin ribbons to. The gold bows, on the other hand, had a beige ponytail elastic looped around the back, allowing Gilbert to slide a bobby pin through to hold the heavy piece of jewelry in place. The show was breathtaking!

In this increasingly globalized world, the myriad of self-expressive and unique styling we are part and parcel to each day is reflected in the braid, as Spring's lead stars as a hopeless messy romantic, sand-washed desert drifter and tightly wound multi-plaited ultra-tasker. The versatile braid is twisted and turned for intricate detail, while remaining nostalgic for her loose and whimsy Midwest roots.

The mid-length bob may be 2017's haircut of the year, but the standout accessory amidst the baubles and treasures of flea market finds is one plucked directly from the sewing kit. This haberdashery trend combines rich, jewel tones with wide, soft fabric ties and sparkling magpie brooches.
Elegant, everyday styling techniques such as buns, ponytails and braids are a key look for the season and a velvet ribbon doubles as a headband and hair tie. Brooches worn as clips offer a pretty, vintage feel for contemporary wedding hair. For nails, layer small gems and pearls over polish for a softer take on the embellished eclectic.
